Learn to build and publish your own personal webpage in just over an hour!

In this course, you'll build your own personal webpage and learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the process. This course is focused on giving you just enough information to build a web page and publish it to the internet, so we'll get through the course in about an hour and won't spend a ton of time getting into the weeds.

This course is designed for absolute beginners, but you do need basic computer skills to be succesful. You'll need to know how to open applications, install applications, and use a web browser.

Here's what you can expect to learn!

Module 1
Introducing the Course

A short, one-minute video where I introduce the course and what we'll be doing.
Module 2
Introducing HTML

You'll learn what HTML is and we'll write some HTML to add content to our webpage.
Module 3
Adding Images

In this module, we'll add images to our webpage and talk about a few new HTML elements.
Module 4
Styling with CSS

In this module, you'll learn how CSS styles our HTML to add color, space, and dimension to our HTML.
Module 5
Introducing JavaScript

In this module, we'll talk about what JavaScript is and I'll highlight a few simple use-cases that showcase how powerful this little language is!
Module 6
Deploying

Lastly, we'll deploy our application using a free service called Netlify. Once we deploy our application, we'll be able to view it on the internet and send the link to our friends and family!
